Limbo (2010/ENG/XBOX360/RegionFree) | 121 MBLimbo - Atmospheric Black game, which appeared in the Xbox Live Arcade under the auspices of the Summer of Arcade this Wednesday - looks magnificent. Any size will tell you this, but playing the game, you're in this for yourself. Developer Playdead demonstrate their aestheticism - like surly Eastern European animation through the steamy glass - with a special beauty and constancy. However, the true reason for the success of the game - a rejection of the emphasis exclusively on the schedule. True ingenuity flourishes in the restrictions, and Limbo strict and unforgiving in self-constructed barriers. There were no color, no dialogue, at least, music, no splash, no scale of health, nothing more. However, you can just hang limitations and expect out of it something great. Throwing too much, you must use what is left with the maximum credibility. And it achieves this Limbo. The game seemed a step away from the glare of visual and sonic debris toward the establishment of other feelings: a sense of magic, or, say, empathy and vulnerability.
